Volker Zetsche
...knows the event business inside and out. In 1996, after completing business studies at the universities of Giessen (Germany) and Zurich (Switzerland), he began his career at a small agency. Two years later, in 1998, he transferred to VOK DAMS Group, one of the largest European event agencies. Initially active as project and budget manager, he developed, amongst other things, the quality management system, including the ISO certification. In 2001, he became a member of the general management and as COO he was responsible for the biggest, recent corporate events. He directed a staff of approx. 50 people.
He adapted his private passion for sports into his professional realm and in 2004 built the sports marketing division at VOK DAMS Group. At the beginning of 2006, after a six-month sabbatical in Cape Town, he founded, together with his wife, the company zet:project. In addition, for the WC 2010 in South Africa, he founded the company zet:project. event & sports PTY (LTD) registered in Cape Town.
